Guitar behind Kooks, Arctic Monkeys' year long feud!

London, May 16 : Britain's biggest new bands - the Arctic Monkeys and The Kooks have been waging a feud for over a year - because of a guitar!

Monkey Alex Turner apparently got a kick in the head from the feisty Kooks star Luke Pritchard after he caught him trying to disconnect his instrument during a gig.

"We've had a weird relationship with the Arctics since we first met. I had to kick Alex in the face because he was trying to pull the leads out of my guitar pedals while we were on stage," the Mirror quoted Luke, as saying.

"We had done so many shows back to back with them, and it just escalated," he added.

Luke said: "I saw them recently in a studio and tried to patch things up. I asked Alex if he wanted to have a bit of a jam in the studio, but he just turned his back and walked away.

"I suppose they are quite arrogant - but who can blame them. They've got a lot going for them."

Mulling over his war with Alex, Luke added: "It's a shame because he is a genius musician, and a really talented song writer, but now we've got this beef. But he shouldn't have touched my guitar.

"We're trying to be good boys now. I've learned the hard way not to slag other bands off. But sometimes it just comes out wrong."
