Education, Health, Roads Need Private Capital - Industry Watch

2 April 2006, Sunday

Private capital flow would impact considerably three sectors in Bulgaria's economy, namely education, health care and transport infrastructure, shows a survey of local think-tank Industry Watch.

The survey was conducted among Bulgarian macroeconomists with the aim to garner their opinions on private financing for public services.

Energy, pension insurance, sports, culture and security also made their way to the list.

The respondents agreed that all sectors might profit from an inflow of private capitals, possibly in combination with state funds, for financing services.
