Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey is hosting a one-hour special for ABC TV during the May sweeps period, it was revealed Wednesday.

Oprah Winfrey's Legends' Ball will run at 8 p.m. May 15, leading into the two-hour season finale of Grey's Anatomy, Daily Variety reported.

The show produced by Winfrey's Harpo Productions will feature footage from a series of private events Winfrey hosted last year in honor of 25 women who were influential in her life.

Among the honorees were the late Coretta Scott King and Rosa Parks, as well as Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner.
