Supermodel Kate Moss is apparently undergoing acupuncture to help control her drug cravings, it was reported Thursday.

Moss and her former boyfriend, Libertines frontman Pete Doherty, have become the most famous drug abusing couple since the late Nancy Spungen and Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols, the Times of London noted.

Sue Cox, the founder of Smart UK -- Substance Misuse Acupuncture Register and Training -- told the Times there was no doubt at all Moss was receiving auricular acupuncture as part of her cocaine rehab.

Pressure points on the ear help produce endorphins, the pleasure circuit of the brain, and reduce stress and cravings, she said.

Moss spent time in an Arizona treatment center last year after photos were published showing her doing lines of cocaine in Doherty's recording studio.

Doherty is also trying to clean up his act and was praised in court this week for his progress in breaking his drug habit, the Times said.
